Cris Cyborg recently took a dig at Claressa Shields following a brutal knockout victory in the fourth boxing match of her career. Cyborg went up against boxer and influencer Aria Wild on the Crypto Fight Week card. It took place on June 15 at the O2 Arena, in London, England.
Amidst her ongoing conflict with PFL commissioner Donn Davis, Cyborg announced her boxing match and went back to the squared circle instead of the cage. While she waits for her next mixed martial arts match, the Brazilian has been participating in boxing matches and has voiced her frustrations.
The MMA icon announced her next boxing match and the fight poster on her X account last month, following her rift with Davis.

Cyborg, who won her previous boxing match in January by first-round knockout, was a strong betting favorite in the main event on Saturday. Following her effort in the first round, Cyborg pressed Wild around the ropes in the second.
At that moment, Cyborg unleashed a powerful right hand that caught Wild and sent her crashing to the ground. She went back to her corner and patiently waited as the fight was officially waved off. This win improved her boxing record to 4-0.
Following her victory, Cyborg went to social media to post a video of the knockout blow and disparage legendary women's boxer Shields, who had recently made a successful comeback to mixed martial arts in February with a split-decision win. With the following caption, she wrote:
''4-0 and I’ve already got more KO’s than Claressa Shields who’s had about 100 boxing fights''

In a recent interview with Bloody Elbow, Cyborg disclosed the details of her next MMA fight. She is set to face two-time PFL champion Larissa Pacheco later this year. Cyborg said:
''My next fight is going to be in MMA. It’s going to be Larissa Pacheco so I’ll have to take a little break from boxing.'' [H/t: Bloody Elbow]
