Cristiano Ronaldo was also among the scores of fans who graced Riyadh to witness the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants. Initially, the Portuguese soccer icon was spotted enjoying the action from his seat. But later, the cameras also showcased Ronaldo sitting backstage with Francis Ngannou.
A tweet from @DAZN_Sport highlighted the moment when the cameras focused on Ronaldo spending some gala time with the headliner of the night, Ngannou. Both acknowledged the camera and struck different poses, one following the other.
This isn't the first time Ronaldo attended a combat sports event. The city of Riyadh has played host to quite a few combat sports showdowns in recent times. The 39-year-old has been to some of them, including Ngannou's last boxing match against Anthony Joshua.

Ronaldo and Ngannou seemingly are good friends. The Cameroonian has also met Ronaldo in private previously. Moreover, Ronaldo also gifted him with a $134,000 watch at their meeting. However, Ngannou appeared in an episode of Club Shay Shay and stated that the interaction that he had with Ronaldo was worth a lot more than the gift.
Ngannou suffered a crushing defeat in his last boxing match against Anthony Joshua, which was also held in Riyadh back in March of this year. His defeat was also witnessed by Ronaldo, who was present in the audience to support him.
But this time, Ronaldo chose to make a change. He chose to visit Ngannou's locker room for support. Looking at the entire scenario, it's quite apparent that both Ronaldo and Ngannou will be hoping for much better results in his main event fight against Renan Ferreira at the PFL Battle of the Giants.
