After the UFC 305 pre-fight press conference where Israel Adesanya was brought to tears by Dricus du Plessis, fight fans now believe that the middleweight champion has gotten under his opponent's skin.

Du Plessis and Adesanya have long been embroiled in a feud regarding their African heritage. 'Stillknocks' believes he is the first true African UFC champion since he lives and trains in the continent, unlike his Nigerian-born opponent.

Things got heated during the pre-fight presser as Adesanya boasted that he'd be taking the belt on a world tour after winning this weekend. The reigning champion, however, was in no mood to let his opponent get ahead of himself, and clapped back at Adesanya with a jibe at his lifestyle choices:

"Are you taking the servants with you when you're going back?"

Deeply disturbed by his opponent's remarks, 'The Last Stylebender' broke down in tears, before promising du Plessis consequences come weekend.

Suffice it to say fight fans have deduced Adesanya's breakdown at the media event as a bad sign for him in the upcoming fight. After Dana White posted footage of the pair's face-off on Instagram, netizens delved into his comments section to note their opinion.

In an inventive jibe at Adesanya's moniker, @the_mischevousking wrote:

"Crybender."

_prettyboya opined:

"DDP won the mental game, which is half the battle."

However, not everyone is counting on 'Stillknocks' to win.
