American Top Team (ATT) founder Dan Lambert's net worth is in the range of one to 10 million dollars, as per Market Realist.

Dan Lambert founded the ATT gym in 2001 and it has now grown to be one of the best gyms in the world of combat sports. Over time, several renowned fighters have been part of the gym. They include names like Yoel Romero, Jorge Masvidal, Dustin Poirier, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Andrei Arlovski, Junior dos Santos, and the current UFC bantamweight and featherweight queen Amanda Nunes.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Lambert revealed that he almost bought the UFC back in 2001. At that point, the organization was going through a tough time and the original owners did not have pay-per-view rights anymore. That was when Lambert tried to buy a 51% share of the company for $500,000. The ATT coach added that he had also deposited $200,000 as a down payment but, eventually, the deal did not go through:

“I was going to buy 51% of the company from them for 500 grand. I had to put 200 up immediately as a down payment so they could fund the next show. I was going to put a million bucks in escrow to carry the company for a year and a half... The deal didn’t go through and after a week, they just went silent and stopped sending my stuff, stopped communicating and ghosted me. As it turns out because they got a better offer from the Zuffa guys.”

Dan Lambert shares his thoughts on the Fertitta brothers buying the UFC

Dan Lambert believes it was for the best when the Fertitta brothers bought the UFC under the 'Zuffa LLC' name in 2001 and appointed Dana White as the president.

During his interview with Chris Van Vliet, Lambert shared that if he had ended up owning the UFC, he would have hosted just a few events in a year. The ATT coach praised the Fertitta brothers and White and said that he would not have been able to do nearly as good a job as Zuffa LLC did in running the promotion and developing it into a multi-billion dollar giant:

"I would have probably kept it on the same type of schedule, three shows a year, just try to get a television break. There's no way I would have done a job like these guys did. They went so far into the red running that company. They were bleeding money right and left and they just kept fighting. I mean, nobody's going to do the job that Dana did... So, not a regret at all in that regard."
