Dana White could possibly become a surprise addition to the Donald Trump cabinet according to one of combat sports' most prolific media personalities. This was a subject that Ariel Helwani touched upon in the wake of Trump winning the election and entering his second term as U.S. President.
White was involved in the victory speech and Helwani seemed to find this intriguing. In an excerpt from a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Helwani said:
"It feels like we're not that far away from him being part of some cabinet. Like is he going to leave? Is this the route? It's a wild thing and this is not me editorialising. It's actually kind of wild."
"Not only that, throughout all of the broadcast last night, you're hearing people specifically credit Joe Rogan and his endorsement of Donald Trump. The fact that Kamala Harris didn't go on his show."

Dana White and his history with Donald Trump
Dana White and Donald Trump have connections to each other that date back years prior. Trump played a key role in aiding the UFC during a dark period for the company that was in the early stages of when White was in the promotional picture.
The former host of The Apprentice hosted some of the UFC shows that transpired under White's early tenure and the mutual support has been there for years.
Trump is someone who has shown up to multiple UFC events where by he is given his own entrance. During the intervening four years since Trump's first presidential term, he was painted in a negative light by many but White never wavered in terms of his support for Trump.
The U.S. president also clearly realized how much the UFC support helped him secure that young male vote as evidenced by Dana White participating in the victory proceedings. White also pointedly thanked podcast hosts like Theo Von and Joe Rogan who also spotlighted Trump for the young male voters out there.
