UFC CEO Dana White has offered his help in tackling the disastrous Los Angeles fires in California. The fast-moving wildfires in L.A. have claimed at least two lives and forced the evacuation of over 80,000 residents. The Palisades Fire has scorched over 5,000 acres, while the Eaton and Hurst Fires have consumed 2,227 and 500 acres, respectively. Fueled by dry conditions and strong winds, the fires continue to wreak havoc across Southern California.
To assist in combating the growing crisis, firefighting teams from Nevada, including those from Clark County and Las Vegas, have joined the efforts.
White took to Instagram to acknowledge their bravery to share his gratitude and offer support. Sharing a post from the Clark County Fire Department, White wrote:
“Much respect to all the first responders from Nevada and California. ANYTHING you need from Me or UFC, we got you!”

Daniel Cormier names his choice of potential successor to Dana White in the UFC
Daniel Cormier has highlighted Hunter Campbell, the organization’s Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer, as a strong candidate to succeed Dana White when he steps down. In an interview with MMA Junkie, Cormier praised Campbell’s influence and ability to navigate complex negotiations, making him an indispensable figure in the UFC:
''When was the last time you heard an executive’s name called as many times as Hunter Campbell? He has developed a way of relating to the athletes and their managers that makes fights that seem like they won’t happen, or can’t happen, come together. It was only a few years ago that he took the lead on negotiations and everything.''
Cormier also noted how fighters increasingly recognize Campbell for his role, alongside White, in ensuring smooth negotiations. This shift, he said, underscores Campbell’s growing importance within the organization.

Since stepping into his role in 2019, Campbell has played a pivotal part in the UFC’s operations. Frequently joining White in the famed "war room," Campbell is integral to fight scheduling and deal-making, further solidifying his reputation as a top executive and potential successor to lead the UFC into the future.
