UFC CEO Dana White has put an end to speculation of a potential Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou promotional crossover bout with the PFL fight following Turki Alalshikh's recent remarks. White also revealed who Jones will fight next.

Alalshikh, who has earned a reputation for putting together exciting boxing matchups over the years, recently featured on The Ariel Helwani Show and hinted at a potential heavyweight clash between Jones and Ngannou, considering the promotion's affiliation with Riyadh Season. The 43-year-old added that he needs to persuade White to make this happen.

''I have on the table two options for Francis. One in MMA and one in boxing, I want to discuss with him. In MMA, you know, all the time my answer is all the time we want to do the biggest [fights]. [Yes. it’s Jon Jones], we need to send Dana White to the moon.'' [H/t: Bloody Elbow]

Erik Nicksick calls for Dana White to book Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou

Following Turki Alalshikh's comments regarding a possible crossover heavyweight bout in the aforementioned interview with Ariel Helwani, interest in a matchup between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou has grown.

Erik Nicksick, Ngannou's coach, recently chastised Dana White for prior comments about 'The Predator's' character. In a recent episode of the Verse Us podcast, the MMA coach said:

''I think that's the only way really, money talks. I think you put your ego aside if the money moves your motivation enough. At the end of the day, Dana, you think Jon [Jones] is the baddest motherf**ker ever then put him up against Francis. You hate Francis so much, watch him get his a*s kicked. Why not?''
