Dana White has hinted that former women's featherweight and bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes could make her return to the UFC octagon. Nunes called time on her career last year after defending the bantamweight title against Irene Aldana at UFC 289 in June.

While she was expected to face Julianna Pena in a trilogy bout, the Brazilian opted to hang up her gloves in order to focus on things at home. 'The Lioness' never ruled out a comeback, however, and following the UFC's aquisition of former PFL champion Kayla Harrision, a highly anticipated bout between the two could be on the horizon. The pair have also previously discussed facing one another on multiple occasions, but they were signed to different promotions at the time.

The UFC president discussed Nunes potentially returning to the UFC during a recent appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast. White noted that the pair have an "incredible relationship" and hinted that Nunes could be ready to step back into the cage sooner than some may think. He said:

"I love Amanda Nunes. We have an incredible relationship. She could come back. It's a possiblity she could come back. She's a very unique individual in her own right, very powerful woman that is looked at as the GOAT of female fighting now. She's married to another female fighter, she's very inspiring to the gay and lesbian community...She blazed her own trail in the UFC."

Dana White addresses rumors of Conor McGregor sabotaging bout against Michael Chandler to negotiate a better contract

Dana White has squashed rumors that Conor McGregor intentionally pulled out of his UFC 303 clash against Michael Chandler.

Following the news the Irishman had withdrawn from the highly anticipated bout, rumors began circulating that McGregor had tactically removed himself from the fight to try and leverage the UFC into handing him a more lucrative contract.

The UFC president then addressed those concerns during a recent interview with Jim Rome on X. According to White, there is absolutely no truth to the stories at all and McGregor is as professional as they come when it comes to business. He said:

“Conor McGregor never tries to lead up to a fight and renegotiate a contract or get more money….He is as solid as solid can be at being a business partner. Conor McGregor is hurt right now. It’s absolutely real.”
