A former UFC fighter recently targeted Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in his latest social media rant. The person also blasted both Joshua and Fury's promoters for not scheduling a fight between them and claimed that they ought to have done it long ago.

For context, in a recent interview with Sportsboom during his visit to Nigeria, Joushua expressed his desire to face Fury in a heavyweight showdown this year. Marca reported the Brit's remarks, which read:

''I've been involved in a whole lot of fights, but this has to happen in 2025. Of course, it has to happen, and hopefully, it does happen.” [H/t: Marca.com]

The aforementioned MMA fighter is Darren Till, who gave his take on the potential Joshua vs. Fury clash by issuing harsh remarks at both the fighters and their promoters, writing:

''5 years too late. No one is a*sed. Respect the fu*k out of the both of you. But you and ur promoters wanted to play who’s got the biggest d*ck so the fight is just like yeh…It’s not the same now and that is why Dana is laughing again. Soon as the best reach the top they fight each other. Tyson and AJ have been fighting everyone but each other and that was the fight to make years ago at Wembley.''

Till continued:

''But obvs that was back when both thought the other didn’t need the other and ur promoters were in the toilets measuring their d*cks and their egos…I actually feel like it’s an insult to the fanbase for us to give use hundreds of millions when really we should have got this fight years ago so yeh… fu*k off AJ we’re not a*sed mate!''

Eddie Hearn feels the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight is still one of the biggest cards in boxing

Anthony Joshua is expected to take on Tyson Fury in a boxing matchup this year. Joshua is coming off a loss against Daniel Dubois in an IBF title match last year, while Fury has suffered consecutive defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.

In a recent interview with iFL TV, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn shared his opinion on the 35-year-old facing Fury, saying:

''The Fury fight is there. We appreciate that it might not be as big as it could have been, but it's still the biggest fight in boxing... Tell me a bigger fight in boxing? It doesn't exist. 'AJ' vs. Fury is the biggest fight in the sport of boxing. Once the dust settles, I guess it's up to me and Frank [Warren] and Spencer [Warren] to say, 'Guys, what are you thinking?' Right now I doubt that Fury is thinkning about fighting again.''
