Dana White reacts to Conor McGregor's cryptic two-word tweet after Ilia Topuria's UFC 308 win over Max Holloway

UFC CEO Dana White has responded to Irish superstar Conor McGregor's post after the UFC 308 main event title clash between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway.

Following Topuria's win over 'Blessed', the Irishman posted a cryptic two-word post saying:

"Call me."

Later, White made an appearance at the UFC 308 post-event press conference where he was questioned about McGregor's post. He was asked whether, according to him, McGregor's post was directed at Holloway or Topuria.

White shared that he did not know the answer but there was a possibility that McGregor made that comment just to get everyone to talk about him.

"I don't know. I think he did it to get this, we're all sitting here going, 'Huh, what did he mean?'"

Topuria and Holloway locked horns in an exciting clash on Oct. 26. The first two rounds saw both featherweights having moments of success. In the third, 'El Matador' thrillingly knocked out Holloway.

With the victory, Topuria earned his fifth post-fight bonus in the UFC and also became the first fighter to score a knockout against 'Blessed'.

There have only been five undisputed champions in the UFC's featherweight history and that list includes Topuria, Holloway and McGregor.

The Irishman has a victory over Holloway at 145 pounds and over the years, the two have spoken about sharing the octagon again. 'The Notorious' has also been going back-and-forth with Topuria on social media lately.

So, it is unclear as to who McGregor might be targeting with his recent post.

'The Notorious' uploaded another post where he commented on the current state of UFC's featherweight division.

"Few [featherweights] now in the mix, and I beat every single one of them. I am that division's menace. Point blank. Everyone on that list I hurt badly and finish. Not one of them lay a glove on King Mac."
