UFC President Dana White recently launched his new combat sports venture, Power Slap League, which made its television debut on January 18. The highly controversial sport involves two competitors slapping each other until one gets knocked out or concedes.

While the nature of the sport is well established, welterweight title contender Michael Smith certainly managed to take viewers by surprise when he walked into the official weigh-ins for his match against Jesus Gaspar wearing diapers.

In the third episode of the Power Slap League, 'Slap Jesus' left everyone, including Dana White, in splits as he undressed to prepare to step on the official scale and revealed his unique choice of undergarment.

In a video posted on Twitter, White reacted to the moment and stated:

"'Slap Jesus' never fails to entertain. The guy shows up to the weigh-in in a diaper for the biggest fight of his life. The bottom line is, this guy is a competitor... He loves to throw it all on the first slap, and it's worked for him so far."

The California native is vying to become the first Power Slap welterweight champion. Michael Smith is now one of the fighters to move into the Power Slap house and defeated Jesus Gaspar via split decision in the first match of the show.

Dana White and Logan Paul sign a new deal for PRIME to become UFC's official sports drink

Dana White and Logan Paul recently announced a multi-year global marketing partnership between the UFC and PRIME Hydration.

The sports drink brand was jointly founded by famous internet personalities Logan Paul and KSI, who also advertise the beverages on their social media networks, where they have over 400 million followers worldwide across networks including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

The move means that PRIME will replace BodyArmor, which has been the promotion’s sports drink since 2017. The official press release noted that Monster Energy remained the UFC’s official energy drink. However, PRIME will be seen branded across the octagon's red and blue corners and the stools that fighters sit on.

Following the announcement, Dana White shared his opinion on the multi-year deal in an official statement:

“We’re excited to name PRIME the official sports drink of UFC and an official partner of the UFC Performance Institute... With their massive social media following and UFC’s global reach, we’re going to get the PRIME brand in front of hundreds of millions of fans all over the world.”
