Dana White has never shied away from giving his honest opinions to the media. A betting scandal recently surrounded the company when James Krause, a UFC fighter turned coach, was involved in a betting scandal that saw him get stripped off his credentials as a coach and banned from the promotion.
The scandal launched a number of investigations by different bodies as a discord server created by James Krause, named the 1% club. Users of the server shared screenshots of chats where a number of active UFC fighters were part of the server. Dana White has denied any involvement from the company's side and is not bothered by it at all.
During the post-fight press conference after UFC 282, White spoke about the situation:
"Zero. I'm not worried about it at all...We let these guys know, not to bet on fights. Do you know what the outcome of this is? If I penalize them, you get cut. They're gonna go to f***ing federal prison, federal f***ing prison. If you're that f***ing stupid and somebody wants to do it, knock yourself out. There's not enough money in it to ruin your life, and not go to jail, go to federal prison."

Dana White gives his thoughts on the controversial judges' scorecards for UFC 282
Fans had a lot of complaints after the UFC 282 main card, with many claiming the scorecards for both Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon, and Jan Błachowicz vs Magomed Ankalaev were 'robberies.'
Pimblett controversially won his fight via unanimous decision, whereas the main event was scored a majority draw. During the press conference, Dana White gave his thoughts on the situation:
"This is nothing new. It's like the Paddy Pimblett fight, Gordon had a horrible game plan going into that third round. You think you won the first two rounds, with the judges? I mean how do you know that? Why go in there and throw away the third round and not go in to fight your a** off and win?"
He added:
"If you think you know who won what round or whatever, you're crazy. I've been doing this for twenty-three years, I have no f***ing what those guys are gonna do or what they're gonna say."
Dana White had no solid answers to the reporters' questions. Active UFC fighters also chimed in to give their thoughts on the situation, with the likes of Nate Diaz stating Paddy Pimblett did not deserve to win the fight.
