Dana White recently responded to IShowSpeed calling for a fight against Alex Pereira. The popular streamer approached the UFC CEO with the idea, which made for a hilarious exchange.
IShowSpeed has taken part in a few combat sports ventures in the past year as he competed against KSI in a charity sparring session. In addition, he famously even got involved at WWE WrestleMania, where he took an RKO on the announce table from Randy Orton. It appears as though the streamer wants to take it up a notch as he expressed interest in competing in an MMA bout.
Championship Rounds tweeted a clip of the interaction between the streamer and the UFC CEO at an event, where he expressed interest in making his MMA debut against Pereira. White asked IShowSpeed if he knew what 'Poatan' looked like and hilariously cautioned him against pursuing such a bout. He said:
"Okay, who do you want? Adin Ross?...[Pereira] that's a bad idea...Have you seen him? He's here. I think when you see him, you'll change your mind."

Jan Blachowicz claims the UFC is trying to protect Alex Pereira
Alex Pereira's surge in popularity to the point that influencers are calling him out has led to former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz claiming that the UFC is trying its best to protect him.
After the promotion announced that Pereira would be defending his title against Khalil Rountree at UFC 307, the 41-year-old took to his X account and sounded off on the decision. Blachowicz mentioned that there are more deserving opponents and insinuated that Rountree was awarded the title shot due to his fighting style being more favorable. He wrote:
"With all due respect to Khalil [Rountree] but there are at least two higher ranked contenders who are ready to fight 'Poatan'. He doesn't need special protection."
