Charles Oliveira previews Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan fight
Last month, Charles Oliveira shared his thoughts on an Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan battle and predicted a win for the reigning UFC lightweight champion. Oliveira has notably suffered losses against both title contenders and, unsurprisingly, knows a thing or two about their skills in the cage.
During an interview with New York Post Sports, 'Do Bronx' broke down Makhachev and Tsarukyan's style. Pointing out that they had a very similar game, he added that Makhachev edged Tsarukyan by a small margin and said:
"It's very, very similar strikers... Very similar styles. And I think that they have to watch out for the same things on each other... I think that one of them is just a toe ahead of the other. I think Islam is a little step, a step ahead of Arman. I think he's just stronger by a little bit. But I think when push comes to shove, any of them could win. That's how I feel."
