Dana White's Power Slap TBS TV deal looks to be in danger of being terminated before it even began. This came in light of a video of the UFC President slapping his wife at a nightclub on New Year's Eve.

According to Jeremy Botter, the first two episodes of the Power Slap series have been dropped from TBS's programming following the incident. Botter reported that a source at Warner Media said that Power Slap is no longer listed on internal programming schedules, writing:

"A Warner Media source tells me Dana White's Power Slap series is no longer listed on any internal programming schedules and all ad spots have been dropped. The death of the deal, I'm told, is basically just paperwork at this point."

Power Slap was set to premiere on TBS at 10 pm on January 11. The timeslot could have been beneficial for them because it would immediately follow AEW Dynamite! which generates close to one million weekly viewers.

It remains to be seen whether Warner Media will completely cut ties with Dana White and his Power Slap league or if they will premiere the series at a later date.

Dana White's wife apologizes for her role in the altercation

Dana White was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons after a video of him slapping his wife at a nightclub on New Year's Eve was made public.

The UFC President's wife, Annie, spoke to TMZ and apologized for her role in the incident and asked for privacy for their children's sake, saying:

"Unfortunately, we were both drinking too much on New Year's Eve, and things got out of control, on both sides. We've talked this through as a family and apologized to each other. I just hope people will respect our privacy for the sake of our kids."

Since the incident was made public, ESPN and the UFC's ownership at Endeavor have been criticized for their response and lack of coverage of what transpired.
