UFC CEO Dana White has spoken about the situation concerning Conor McGregor's withdrawal from UFC 303. White recently did an interview with Sports Business Journal, where he shared his thoughts on the UFC 303 main event falling through.

The 54-year-old shared that such situations were a part of the business. White said that he does not plan on talking about McGregor's fighting future until the Irishman is fully recovered from his injury and is ready to fight again.

"It's just business, man. This is the way it goes. And from here on, I'm not going to talk about it until when he's healed and he's right. Then we'll look at the landscape and see what we can figure out." [H/T MMA Junkie]

McGregor was scheduled to lock horns against Michael Chandler in a long-awaited showdown at UFC 303. The event is set to take place on June 29 during International Fight Week and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada will be the venue.

Unfortunately, 'The Notorious' had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. This put the event in jeopardy as many fans had bought tickets to the card to specifically witness McGregor in action.

Then, Dana White managed to find a replacement in the form of a light heavyweight title fight between Jiri Prochazka and champion Alex Pereira. A new co-main event in the form of Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes was also announced by the UFC.

Anthony Smith was also brought in as a replacement for Jamahal Hill to face Carlos Ulberg.

Ikram Aliskerov speaks about Dana White's message to him ahead of UFC Saudi Arabia

UFC 303 was not the only event where the UFC had to look for replacement fighters. Khamzat Chimaev was scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker in the main event of UFC Saudi Arabia, scheduled for June 22 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

Unfortunately, Chimaev had to withdraw from the fight due to an illness. The UFC brass brought in Ikram Aliskerov as a short-notice replacement to fight 'The Reaper'.

Aliskerov recently did an interview with Sport24, where he spoke about the message he received from Dana White ahead of the June 22 card.

"Dana said: 'If you win, it will change your life.'"
