UFC CEO Dana White was impressed by the exceptional talent on display at UFC Vegas 101. The event featured an exciting middleweight showdown between Roman Kopylov and Chris Curtis, with Kopylov securing a TKO victory in the final second of the third round.
The fight featured relentless exchanges, with both fighters showcasing their durability and skill. Kopylov was slightly more effective in the first round, landing combinations, while Curtis started strong in the second, opening up a cut on Kopylov.
However, Kopylov rallied in the latter half of the round, hurting Curtis several times. The third round saw both men continue to trade heavy blows, but Kopylov landed a high kick that sent Curtis to the canvas with only one second left, prompting the referee to stop the fight. The fight also earned the first Fight of the Night honors of 2025.
