Dana White recently addressed the situation surrounding the Los Angeles wildfires and the UFC 311 venue. As wildfires rage in Los Angeles, concerns have grown about the fate of UFC 311, scheduled to take place on Jan. 18, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The fires have caused significant damage, affecting thousands of structures. Other events, including Rod Wave's concert and the Trinity-Mission League Showcase, have already been canceled or postponed.
Addressing fans' concerns, UFC President Dana White stated that UFC 311 will go ahead as planned. Speaking with Jim Rome, White stated:
"No, there is no chance that we move it. We'll be there on Saturday, 100%."

White also shared his first-hand experience of the wildfires, recounting the night it began:
"That’s kind of the vibe that I am getting from the people, they are excited to go to the fight, not think about what’s been going on. What’s crazy is I was there the night the fire started. I was actually out there for meetings. And that was the first night and it felt really crazy. And the people that are in L.A., and you are used to seeing all these fires, you know, in Southern California or whatever. It was a whole different vibe and feeling and it’s only gotten worse."
Despite the devastation, White emphasized the event's potential to uplift spirits:
"I think it’s definitely gonna be a boost for the people who live there."

Dana White reacts to Frontier Airlines kicking Khabib Nurmagomedov off a flight
UFC CEO Dana White criticized Frontier Airlines after Khabib Nurmagomedov was removed from a flight over a dispute about sitting in an exit row seat. Despite the retired champion assuring the crew he met the requirements, he was asked to move or leave the plane.
A viral video of the incident sparked questions about potential racial or religious profiling. White expressed disbelief at the situation, joking:
“What the f*ck is he doing on Frontier Airlines anyway?... This kid’s got more money than anybody but that’s how humble he is. He’s flying on that piece of sh*t airline. I don’t know what you have to do to get kicked off Frontier Airlines. Listen, Khabib doesn’t fight anymore because he’s got sh*tloads of money... I’ve got to teach Khabib how to charter a plane, especially if you’re just going from Vegas to San Francisco.”
He praised Nurmagomedov’s humility but emphasized the absurdity of the airline’s actions. Frontier Airlines later defended its decision, citing policy enforcement.
