Dana White recently made a major announcement related to the venue of UFC 311 in the wake of the California wildfires. However, the move that White announced stands as a potential one as of now.

White had picked Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, as the hosting arena for the first UFC pay-per-view of 2025, UFC 311. But the recent outbreak of wildfires in the state has put White's entire plan in jeopardy.

A recent Instagram post from @homeoffight revealed that White already had a Plan B ready for the worst-case scenario. It highlighted a section of his recent meetup with online streamer Adin Ross where he revealed his plan to shift the venue of UFC 311 to somewhere in Las Vegas if the wildfires reach the Inglewood Dome.

White also used the upcoming Crypto.com Arena-based NBA match between the San Antonio Spurs and LA Lakers as an indicator to mention that things were in control to date:

"Well, if the fire gets bad, we’re coming to Vegas. Yeah, we’re moving to Vegas if it gets too bad. But as of now, it’s all good. The NBA’s [LA Lakers vs. SA Spurs] gonna go this week."

Dana White commends firefighters during California wildfires, Canada and Mexico also send help

Dana White expressed his grief about the devastation caused by the California wildfires a couple of days back. But he also appreciated the cordial dedication of the firefighters from multiple states of the US to tackle the emergency situation.

One of White's recent Instagram stories revealed that he had talked to the Governor of Nevada about the situation. White also mentioned that he would be ready to help in whichever way possible. He penned:

"Love this [the dedication of the firefighters]!!! Already called @joelombardonv. Much respect to all the first responders from Nevada and California. ANYTHING you need from me or @ufc. We got you!"

Recent reports say that the USA's neighbors have also responded to manage the devastation caused by the wildfires, much like White did.

An article from The New York Times mentioned that the USA's northern and southern neighbors, Mexico and Canada, have responded to the emergency in California. Both countries are sending in teams to help the US firefighters tackle the situation.
