'The Notorious' has been out of action since the leg break he suffered against Dustin Poirier in 2021. The Irishman was then set to make his return against 'Iron' back in June, however, another injury forced him out of the fight.
After waiting nearly two years to face McGregor, Chandler opted to accept a bout against Oliveira instead, leaving McGregor's future up in the air.
Speaking to Kevin Iole in a recent interview, Dana White addressed Conor McGregor's return, stating he expects it to now be in 2025 against a new opponent. He said:
"I said that Conor wasn't fighting until 2025. It is October 1st of 2024. Conor McGregor has plenty of time ... I'm gonna go with 2025. Yeah. 2025."

#1 Michael Bisping details how he caught thief who stole his wife's purse
Michael Bisping and his family were recently in Paris as the UFC Hall of Famer was on duty in the commentary booth at UFC Fight Night 243.
Following the event, Bipsing and his wife, Rebecca, remained in the French capital to enjoy the sights. Not everything quite went to plan, however, as the former middleweight champion shared a video on X detailing an incident that happened.
According to Bisping, whilst on the streets of Paris, a thief stole Rebecca's handbag. They didn't get very far though, as Bisping revealed he had chased the criminal down and retrieved the stolen items. He said:
"Earlier today, I had to stop a crime. Sitting there having breakfast with Rebecca in the streets of Montmartre, Paris and some little s**t snatches Rebecca's bag, runs away. So, I chase after him, get a hold of him, he had the bag already hidden in like a towel."
He continued:
"Got the bag off him, he didn't speak a word of English, obviously. Didn't do anything to him. Got the bag back. He was s**tting his pants, poor guy... Anyway, I let him go, turned around, boom, just gave him a nice little kick up the a**. Little s**t. Anyway, got the bag back, all is good."
