UFC president Dana White has witnessed his fair share of weigh-in scuffles, backstage brawls, and verbal fencing. Despite their dramatic value to the narrative of a bout, White is not a fan of these actions.

Recently, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his entourage accosted Jake Paul in Miami on March 8 after an NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to TMZ Sports, 'Money' confronted Paul over some past comments. Some members of Mayweather's entourage brought up 'The Problem Child's recent loss at the hands of British boxer Tommy Fury.

Floyd Mayweather was reportedly furious with Paul for allegedly making light of his deceased relative.

Following the incident, Jake Paul issued a challenge to Mayweather via Twitter. Dana White was skeptical about the veracity of the altercation, despite the fact that the incident made headlines. He believes Mayweather chasing Paul was uncharecteristic. Speaking in an interview with TMZ Sports, White stated:

"Is that real? I just can’t see Floyd doing that. I can’t see Floyd rolling up on somebody and doing that. It’s not Floyd’s style. It’s not really his personality. I thought it was a skit.”

White added:

“I’m not buying it. When was the last time you saw Floyd Mayweather act like a thug and roll up on somebody with 50 people? That’s just not what Floyd does. Yeah, I’m not buying it.”

Dana White claims that he wouldn't be surprised if Jon Jones retires with a victory over Stipe Miocic

Jon Jones defeated Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 via submission to lay hands on the heavyweight championship. He seized the opportunity to challenge former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for a future bout.

The fight seems to have been approved by UFC president Dana White, who confirmed that Jones will attempt to make his first title defense against Stipe Miocic.

White recently reacted to the potential clash in the aforementioned interview with TMZ Sports. White claimed that he would not be surprised if 'Bones' retired after defending his title against Miocic. He said:

"I wouldn't be shocked either if he fights Stipe and then retires and doesn't fight again."
