Dana White and Vince McMahon are the two most polarizing figures in MMA and professional wrestling, respectively. The pair are known for their hyper-competitive nature and business-based aggression. Both men have both earned the scrutiny of their fans for one reason or another.
Recently, however, the UFC's parent company—Endeavor Group—shocked the world of combat sports and sports entertainment. It did so by purchasing WWE to unite it with the UFC under a single publicly-traded company worth $21 billion. Reaction to the news has been interesting.
Conor McGregor congratulated the UFC and subsequently posted a photoshopped picture of him holding a UFC title and WWE title: one on each shoulder. This drew a fiery response from Paul Heyman, who serves as reigning WWE champion Roman Reigns' on-screen manager.

He branded the Irishman a Roman Reigns wannabe. Fans, however, have reacted with interest in a different matchup.
Fans joke about a Dana White vs. Vince McMahon match
Fans have since joked about a potential matchup between Dana White and Vince McMahon. There's a good reason behind it. Back in 2011, Dana White revealed, during a media event for UFC 158, that WWE executive chairman challenged him to either a fight in the UFC or a match in WWE.
"Vince wanted to fight me, swear to God. He called me up, said, 'Let's do it. We can do it in the UFC, or let's do it at WrestleMania.' And I said, 'You are crazy.'"
While White dismissed the idea by telling McMahon he was insane for suggesting a bout between the two, there's been some level of competition between the two. After former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey became a WWE wrestler, the UFC president attended her WrestleMania match.
Unfortunately, McMahon sat him in the rafters. Meanwhile, White gave his business rival premium cage-side seats at UFC 276. As a result, fans have taken to Twitter to joke about a possible match.
