Danial Williams believes he'd need to be technical yet aggressive vs Thongpoon: "I'd need both"

ONE Championship fans have watched Danial Williams put on a show countless times during his run with the promotion.

'Mini T' is known for putting on exciting fights but that doesn't mean that he only knows how to fight one way.

Williams can always dig deep and throw himself into the fire when he needs to, but sometimes, that's not the best use of his striking game.

In his next outing at ONE Fight Night 26, he wants to utilize both approaches to get his hand raised at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Dec. 6.

Williams' return to Muay Thai sees him lock horns with Thongpoon PK Saenchai in an exciting strawweight clash.

Against a dangerous opponent like the man that awaits him next time out, he believes that balancing both sides of his game will be crucial.

In a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Danial Williams spoke about the two sides to his approach and how he intends to implement them:

"So there's two ways we can look at it I think - the technical style of mine or the usual all-out style I bring. Both can happen I feel and I'd need both against a guy like Thongpoon, you know."

Fight fans have seen him implement both approaches and though fighting smart is his best bet against an opponent like Thongpoon, he might need to match fire with fire at some stage.

'Mini T' is always prepared to do that even when his mentality is focused on using the technical side of his game more than the aggressive, all-out attack style that makes him such an exciting contender to watch.
