Danial Williams expects another 'convincing' win for Anatoly Malykhin against challenger Reug Reug at ONE 169

Danial Williams is backing three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin to get his hand raised without much fuss in his heavyweight world title fixture against 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane at ONE 169.

The heavyweight machines duke it out in the main event of the showcase in one of four five-round scraps that will entertain combat sports fans live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 8.

Weighing in on the headline attraction, 'Mini T' admits that he doesn't see any way the Senegalese warrior will be able to steal a win over the undefeated Russian colossal. The Perth native told Sportskeeda MMA:

"I just think Anatoly's gonna convincingly win if he performs the way he has been performing."

Anatoly Malykhin was last in action in his historic title-clinching victory over Reinier de Ridder at ONE 166: Qatar.

The 36-year-old stopped the Dutch grappling specialist via TKO in round three to secure the middleweight gold and stay perfect (14-0) in his career with a 100 percent finishing rate.

As for Kane, he spots a 6-1 run under the promotional banner, with his last victory in MMA coming at the expense of heavyweight world title favorite, 17-time BJJ world champion Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida.


Anatoly Malykhin vows to put Reug Reug to sleep early in Lumpinee war

Just as he has done throughout his illustrious career, Anatoly Malykhin vows to get the job done early against 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the fight was announced, the Golden Team star wrote:

"Gonna put this guy to sleep, I promise full sleep time. Let's go!"
