Thai-Australian fighter Danial Williams won in his most recent MMA match but reiterated that he is eyeing big wins in Muay Thai in his next matches under ONE Championship.
'Mini T' shared this in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA on the heels of his unanimous decision victory over Banma Duoji of China in their catchweight MMA showdown at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Oct. 4 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Williams laid down that while MMA is very much part of his push as a fighter, he is excited for a possible return to Muay Thai in ONE and looking to make a huge impression in it, saying:
"I like this weight class at flyweight. I think I fight better at it in MMA. So yeah, a lot of changes, but I just want to do MMA later and I just want to do Muay Thai fights now and just put an absolute highlight reel and then make the time for the MMA."

Danial Williams proud of how he handled things at ONE Fight Night 25
Danial Williams had to go through the wringer in winning at ONE Fight Night 25 but, by and large, proud of how he handled things amid the adversity that he had to take on.
The Perth, Australia native had to dig deep in his arsenal to outgun and outlast Chinese star Banma Douji in their catchweight MMA showdown to book the decision victory that halted a four-fight losing streak for him.
In the same interview with Sportskeeda MMA after his victory, 'Mini T' relayed that while he did not come away unscathed against Banma, he was deserving of the victory for he had steady control of the match throughout the three rounds, saying:
"I think I controlled the pace. I just got the better shots. But now I look a bit damaged. It is what it is."
The MMA win at ONE Fight Night 25 was Danial Williams' fourth in six matches in the multi-faceted sport in ONE Championship.
