Australian-Thai fighter Danial Williams returned to the win column in his most recent match but admitted his performance still fell short here and there, and that he has to continue working on his game to achieve his desired effect.
'Mini T' was a unanimous decision winner over Banma Duoji of China in their catchweight (136.25 pounds) MMA clash at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Oct. 4 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He stood toe-to-toe for three rounds against a tough opponent, digging dip into his arsenal, including ripping hooks, to get the win.
In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA following his victory, Danial Williams gave an honest take on his showing, pointing out some shortcomings he needs to address.

"Yeah, just the boxing defense, man. That'll help me set up some big, big shots if I can just get that defense a lot better. It's been one of my areas of training for a while but this camp was just a bit focused on the grappling. So yeah, that was some of the shortcomings."
The win at ONE Fight Night 25 was the first for Williams in his last five matches spanning two years. His previous victory came in July 2022 over Chinese Zelang Zhaxi by way of knockout in the opening round.

Danial Williams grateful to finally end telling skid
Danial Williams had it rough in competition in the last two years, losing four straight, but saw a breakthrough at ONE Fight Night 25 last week with a hard-earned victory over Banma Duoji of China.
It was little wonder that he was all pumped up and elated following his long-sought victory, even taking to social media to share his excitement.
'Mini T' said in an Instagram post:
"I just wanna say thank you so much for the support. Finally got the win, it's been a long time coming. I knew I just had to really change my style, I just wanna go in there in MMA but I really had to be patient. Thank you to everyone who helped me get there."
The win was Danial Williams' fourth victory in six MMA matches to date in ONE Championship. Apart from mixed martial arts, he also competes in Muay Thai and kcikboxing in the promotion.
