'Mini T' Danial Williams spent most of his training camp leading into ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video drilling in Thailand. While the Thai-Australian fighter was training in the nation, 'Mini T' became a bit of a figure.

Danial Williams explained what the atmosphere was like while training in Thailand for his ONE Fight Night 8 showdown in an interview with ONE Championship, saying:

"100 percent. It's cool getting photos here and there. The young kids at the gym and some people in the area. So yeah, exactly. It's kind of like a little bit of a spinner. It's nothing crazy, but it's a little spinner. Because I'm used to being absolutely nobody, which is also awesome. I do like that, to be fair. But yeah, it's a little bit cool. I'm getting these little photos at the gym with our little Thais now. It's so awesome."

On March 24 in the main event of ONE Fight Night 8, Danial Williams will fight for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title against 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Danial Williams on training in Thailand for ONE FIght Night 8

'Mini T' Danial Williams was preparing for his ONE Fight Night 8 showdown in Thailand, where his career began, rather than his current home in Australia.

On training overseas for his upcoming match, 'Mini T' explained to ONE Championship in an interview:

"I haven't been to my gym in Chiang Mai, the north of Thailand, for about seven years. And it's just amazing to be back because it's still around. I remember everyone, and everyone treats me like family. I'm just so grateful to be here. It's really cool, full circle."

After training in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Williams explained that Superlek will need to be careful because everything in camp went flawlessly. With no injuries, he is hyper-focused on victory.

He continued:

"I just said the word focus, man. That's the biggest thing. When I'm focused, I feel unbeatable. So I feel the focus has been there after that last fight, getting the injuries recovered and coming back in."
