Danial Williams made some intriguing correlations between Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai and how they've helped him step up his game in all aspects of martial arts.
'Mini T' has always had a passion for everything combat-related. He's a well-rounded fighter with specializations in kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and now, Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
As he heads towards another exciting Muay Thai clash on Dec. 6, Williams elaborated on how learning jiu-jitsu improved areas of his Muay Thai game, and by proxy, mixed martial arts, through ring awareness, positioning, and fitness.
Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, Danial Williams said:

"And yeah, you gotta look at it that way. Otherwise, I don't think it will help me. But because I believe it does, I do see the areas where I can see each of the two having a similar impact that will help me improve, if that makes sense. Good space awareness, good muscle strength, good fitness, and a whole lot more. Kill two birds with one stone as they say."
The former multi-time Muay Thai world champion is focused on picking up his second straight win when he throws down with strawweight Thai brawler Thongpoon PK Saenchai at ONE Fight Night 26 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The star-studded main event will air live from the Lumpinee Stadium in North America for Prime Video subscribers.
Danial Williams shares how living simple life has been game-changer for his mental health
Danial Williams feels like a completely different person since he moved out of the city to a rural area in Australia. As he mentioned in the past, Williams always struggled with mental health, so it felt right to exchange the hustle and bustle of the city with peacefulness and tranquillity.
Updating ONE Championship about living around nature has improved who he is as a person and as a life-long martial artist.
"I think the biggest thing for me, mental health-wise, is just simplifying life and just being where we want to be, which is around nature."
