Danial Williams is one of the few athletes on ONE Championship's roster who regularly switches between competing in different rulesets. 'Mini T' is an anywhere at any time type of fighter, and that has made him a fan favorite over the years.

For his next fight, Danial Williams returns to Muay Thai for a strawweight firefight with Thongpoon PK Saenchai at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6.

In his latest outing at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, he was able to bounce back from a tough losing streak to secure the win over Banma Duoji in an MMA contest.

Though he's back competing in striking for this final fight of the year, there are still lessons and observations that he can take with him between the different skill sets.

Williams spoke about this during a recent interview with Sportskeeda when previewing his upcoming clash.

He believes that with Duoji being a dangerous opponent, he needs to be super sharp in there and the same can be said for his clash with Thongpoon:

"I gotta think... but off the top of my head, I'd probably say it's about the timing, finding the perfect moment to land and score decisively. That's what I learned from there and I'd need to use it again here."

Danial Williams can switch gears if he needs to

When he's competing in MMA, you can see the striking skill and composure of Danial Williams that really sets him apart from his opponents.

Though he's still a very skillful striking when he's trading blows with Muay Thai or kickboxing competitors, one of his biggest assets is that he can switch gears as and when the fight calls for it.

Williams is never afraid to put his safety to the side to get into a scrap and though that might not be his best path to victory against Thonpoon, it's always an option that he has up his sleeve.
