Three-sport athlete Danial Williams is wholly embracing the challenge of fighting Thongpoon PK Saenchai in a strawweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, 'Mini T' expressed his eagerness to face the emerging Muay Thai star:
"Yeah, man. Yeah, I was so happy to get it. Wasn't too sure when the next offer was going to come. But now that it is here, a Muay Thai fight, against a fighter as exciting as Thongpoon, he's a big name, yeah, I was just excited and it was awesome."

Williams' enthusiasm to test his skills against a hungry blue-chipper like Thongpoon is quite understandable because his last fight under Muay Thai rules in ONE came in a losing effort at ONE on TNT I in April 2021 against former flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
While the established vet has not fought in the 'Art of Eight Limbs' since then, Williams has found success under the ONE banner by winning four bouts under MMA rules. His most recent outing was a unanimous decision triumph over Banma Duoji this past October.
ONE Fight Night 26 to feature two world title bouts
The world's largest martial arts promotion is giving fans an early Christmas present with two world title bouts at ONE Fight Night 26.
ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion Christian Lee will defend 26 pounds of lightweight MMA gold against the undefeated Alibeg Rasulov in the main event.
Meanwhile, newly minted ONE women's atomweight submission grappling queen Mayssa Bastos defends the throne against former titleholder Danielle Kelly in a rematch of their thrilling world title clash this past August.
ONE Fight Night 26 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
