Daniel Cormier showcased his funny side with a sly jibe at Conor McGregor during the UFC 305 morning weigh-in show.
During the segment, the trio of Cormier, Alexander Volkanovski, and American sports commentator Dan Hellie were naming their top five UFC stars to have a beer with when the former two-division champion aimed at McGregor's checkered history with alcohol.
After Hellie, named 'The Notorious' No. 5 on his list, Cormier chimed in poking fun at both men, saying:
"I know where it's going to take you. With a punch upside your head. You know Conor likes to beat old men [bursts out laughing]. Conor is going to beat Dan Hellie. Conor would beat you Hellie."

Cormier's statement is a reference to when the Irishman was caught on tape in 2019, punching 50-year-old Desmond Keogh in the Marble Arch pub in Ireland after Keogh allegedly refused to accept a drink from 'The Notorious'.
According to a report by the Irish Mirror, McGegor was penalized € 1,000 after pleading guilty for the incident.
Unfortunately, this is far from the UFC mega star's only drunken disorderly conduct.
In October 2021 McGregor was accused of breaking Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti's nose during a party in Rome. Later in 2022 reports emerged of him assaulting a middle-aged woman during his birth bash in Ibiza, Spain.
McGregor was also caught on tape throwing a drink at popular rapper Machine Gun Kelly during the 2021, MTV Video Music Awards.
When Conor McGregor called Daniel Cormier "a fat mess"
It looks like Daniel Cormier has good reason to launch the occasional jibe at Conor McGregor.
After 'DC' called out the Irishman for his inappropriate comments on his former teammate Khabib Nurmagomedov's father, 'The Notorious went on an X rant about Cormier.
In a now-deleted post on X, he called the UFC legend fat, while accusing him of being drunk while calling his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier:
"Daniel Cormier is a fat mess. Getting into worse condition by the day. God bless him. Showing up drunk at media events the very day before he was in the booth calling my fight. Drunk at a media event? The day before being a commentator on the biggest fight in history."
