Danielle Kelly reveals her preferred career choice outside of martial arts.
Kelly has dedicated her life to martial arts, leading to a successful career with ONE Championship thus far. Although submission grappling is rapidly growing, the martial arts discipline was not receiving mainstream attention before ONE began providing a massive platform.

Danielle Kelly’s first ONE Championship submission grappling match was in March 2022. Kelly was matched up against former ONE women’s atomweight MMA world title challenger Mei Yamaguchi, ending in a draw before the promotion changed the scoring criteria.
At ONE on Prime Video 4: Abbasov vs. Lee, Kelly took on sambo specialist Mariia Molchanova. The Silver Fox BJJ made a statement by submitting Molchanova with a rear-naked choke at 2:15. This past February, the American superstar secured her latest submission grappling win by securing a unanimous decision against former ONE women’s strawweight world title challenger Ayaka Miura.
In February 2021, Danielle Kelly lost a Who’s #1 submission grappling match against Jessa Khan, who is now signed to ONE Championship. Kelly hopes her next ONE appearance is a rematch against Khan.
