Submission grappling star Danielle Kelly picked up another victory at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, dedicating this one to those who want to see her lose.
The New Jersey native went the distance with judo sensation Ayaka Miura to secure a unanimous decision win. Kelly is currently unbeaten in three ONE Championship appearances, winning two and grappling to a draw in the other.
Danielle Kelly is dedicated to putting on a show for her fans as well as for those who wish to see her lose. Unfortunately, for those people, the 27-year-old intends to keep winning her way to a world title.

Danielle Kelly explains what it's like to get caught in the 'Ayaka Lock'
While Kelly edged out Ayaka Miura via decision, that doesn't mean she wasn't in danger of losing during the course of their match. The judo star had Kelly in her patented 'Ayaka Lock', but the American managed to escape.
Afterwards, Kelly spoke to reporters about what it was like having to fight out of the 'Ayaka Lock'. In her post-fight presser, she said:
“I've been drilling since my last match. I've been drilling a lot of armbar escapes and blocks like that. She would go for it, but I think the most annoying or painful thing was the squeeze on my neck or my head. My arm was pretty flexible, so every time, I just kept turning my elbow down. She would just kind of extend this or like in my elbow.
"Yeah, I think the only really annoying thing was my head was getting squeezed, and it was her hip and her arm on my head squeezing; that wasn't fun. I felt that a lot. My arm was fine. I'm just really dead.”
Kelly handled herself well against an opponent who outweighed her by about 15 pounds. Not only that, but Miura's judoka background presented a difficult challenge in its own right.
