Danielle Kelly is feeling well-prepared for her highly anticipated return to action this Friday night.
Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, ONE Fight Night 24 will see Kelly put her ONE atomweight submission grappling world championship on the line for the very first time when the face of women's BJJ meets accomplished Brazilian standout Mayssa Bastos.
Appearing on the Jordan Teaches Jiujitsu podcast ahead of her highly anticipated return, Danielle Kelly offered some insight into her training camp and her mindset going into the clash with Bastos.

"All I want to do is win, you know," Kelly said. "I put a lot of training, I put a lot of hard work into this camp, and I know what I’m capable of, you know."
The Silver Fox BJJ star goes into the contest with 22 career victories to her credit and an undefeated record under the ONE Championship banner, including a big win over Cambodian-American rival Jessa Khan to win the inaugural atomweight submission grappling crown at ONE Fight Night 14.
Danielle Kelly faces her most experienced and accomplished opponent yet
During her run in ONE, Danielle Kelly has bested some truly impressive names—Mariia Molchanova, Ayaka Miura, and the aforementioned Jessa Khan—but she's never faced an opponent as experienced as Mayssa Bastos.
Making her promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 20 in March, Bastos delivered a dominant performance and walked away with a unanimous decision victory over Kanae Yamada. That win catapulted her into title contention, leading to her showdown with Kelly inside the Mecca of Muay Thai.
Overall, Bastos has an incredible 115 wins and is an eight-time BJJ world champion, topping the podium at the IBJJF Worlds in 2019 and 2021-2024.
Will she add another accolade to her resume and leave The Land of Smiles with 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold around her waist, or will Kelly keep both her belt and her 'O' intact on martial arts' biggest global stage?
ONE Championship fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 24 live and for free via Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime on Friday, August 2.
