Submission sensation Danielle Kelly is looking to knock a few more countries off her must-visit list before 2023 comes to a close.
Kelly will be back in action on February 24 as she takes on accomplished mixed martial artist and 3rd-degree judo black belt Ayaka Miura at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
Once she takes care of business at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand, Kelly wants to do a little globetrotting, depending on her schedule of course.
“I want to go to Italy,” Kelly told ONE Championship. “I want to go to Japan. I would like to go to Indonesia. So hopefully I'll check it out up there. Switzerland, Spain, as well. I'm planning hopefully if I do compete on the US card in May, then I’ll go to Italy and Spain in June.”

Kelly continued, saying:
“That's my plan right now. But you know, hopefully, it works out. But if I'm competing then everything has to kind of get pushed back.”
The Silver Fox BJJ product could very well find herself as part of the highly anticipated ONE Fight Night 10 card this May, which will serve as the promotion’s U.S. debut.
First, she’ll need to get past Miura, who is not necessarily known for her submission grappling skills, but holds an impressive 100% finish rate inside the circle, all by way of submission.
Danielle Kelly predicts another submission victory in her next appearance
Danielle Kelly is confident she’ll earn another highlight reel-worthy submission when she faces Japanese standout Ayaka Miura on February 24. Asked about her prediction in an interview with ONE Championship, Kelly said:
“I’d be submitting her. I would like to get a choke. I think leg locks are starting to be overrated, but I mean, if I get a leg lock then I'll just go for it, but I don't want to just have tunnel vision on it.”
Kelly is coming off a rear-naked choke submission of sambo world champion Mariia Molchanova at ONE on Prime Video 4 in November. It was Kelly’s second appearance inside the circle and was also her second performance worthy of a $50,000 bonus from ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong. Her promotional debut against Mei Yamaguchi at ONE X last year also secured her a $50k bonus.
Will Danielle Kelly earn a third bonus at ONE Fight Night 7 later this month? Fans in North America can find out live and for free on Amazon Prime Video.
