When Kelly isn’t improving her submission grappling, she indulges in her hobbies. One of those hobbies is fashion, which she frequently showcases on social media. The jiu-jitsu phenom recently shared a video displaying an everyday outfit she wears, adding positive advice in the caption:
“Wearing green for March ☘️ styling with my Jordan mids👟 hope everyone has a good week if you’re having a bad time just remember it’s temporary 🫶🏼”
After making a name for herself in jiu-jitsu competitions, Kelly signed with ONE Championship. The American quickly became the face of ONE's women’s submission grappling, making her a superstar in the combat sports world.

The 27-year-old appeared in her promotional debut against former atomweight MMA title challenger Mei Yamaguchi in March 2022. Yamaguchi survived several close submission attempts, leading to a draw.
Eight months later, Kelly made a statement by submitting combat sambo specialist Mariia Molchanova in two minutes and 15 seconds. She carried that momentum into her third ONE appearance, defeating former strawweight MMA title challenger Ayaka Miura by decision.

Danielle Kelly was tested by Ayaka Miura at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. Miura is a judo specialist who holds a 4-3 MMA record in ONE Championship, with all of her wins coming by submission. Despite having the submission grappling competition advantage, Kelly couldn't finish 'Zombie'.

Danielle Kelly doesn’t have her next match booked, but she has an opponent in mind. Kelly has a history with IBJJF Pan American champion Jessa Khan, who signed with ONE. The 27-year-old American hopes to avenge her loss to Khan and continue to work towards becoming the first women’s submission grappling champion in promotional history.
