Danielle Kelly is looking to be crowned the inaugural ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion in 2023. A potential opponent in the battle for the crown is Jessa Khan.
Danielle Kelly is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu phenom with impressive wins over Roxanne Modafferi, Cynthia Calvillo, and former UFC world champion Carla Esparza, among others. But she had an earlier career loss to submission grappling expert Jessa Khan and is demanding revenge.
Jessa Khan is a dangerous grappler. At the age of 21, she has captured several impressive submission grappling world championship titles. She is a ONE Championship signed athlete but has yet to make her debut as her 2022 scheduled bout was unfortunately canceled.

"I mentioned Jessa [Khan], just because I know she signed for ONE. I haven't seen her compete yet for ONE Championship. So I would like to see If we're going to compete for a title."

In most of her bouts, she has walked away with multiple $50,000 performance bonuses from the organization. However, she is still not yet satisfied. She wants Khan and a world title in ONE.
After her victory at ONE Fight Night 7, she explained how much she wants to avenge her loss to Khan:
“It's really important. I want to prove myself, that I've gotten better. I just want to prove myself, and I want that one back. Yeah, I don't know. I really want that one back, that's all I can say, and just prove that I belong here and now I'm going to win that title.”
