Former ONE flyweight MMA world title challenger and current third-ranked divisional contender 'The King' Danny Kingad of the Philippines says he's coming into his next fight more prepared than ever.

The 28-year-old Lions Nation MMA representative believes he was not ready to enter the Circle in his latest fight earlier this year, which resulted in a unanimous decision loss to Japan's Yuya Wakamatsu.

Kingad says he will be ready to go this time.

In a recent interview with the The MMA Superfan, Kingad discussed the loss to Wakamatsu in Tokyo.

'The King' said:

"One factor was the weather in Japan. It was so cold. When we were in the dugout, I was so cold. I guess that’s the home-court advantage."

Now, Kingad is set to return to action, this time in Atlanta, Georgia's cool November climate.

The Filipino star added:

"I’m looking at Atlanta’s weather come November 8, it’s pretty much the same as Baguio, but whatever happens, I’m gonna be prepared this time."

Kingad is set to return to action later this year, and he's currently working very hard in training now getting himself prepared for war.
