Danny Kingad isn't concerned with losing motivation or his desire to compete at the highest level. The 29-year old flyweight contender is still just as hungry for success as ever and it shows in his current mentality.

'The King' is approaching one of the biggest fights of his career that has massive stakes looming over it. At ONE 169 on Nov. 8, he will face Adriano Moraes in a rematch at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Not only is this fight an opportunity for Kingad to show how he has improved since their previous meeting back in 2017, it's an opportunity for him to defeat a former champion and elevate himself right to the top of the flyweight division.

This goal has got the flyweight staple fired up and ready to put on a show, as is clear in his recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA where he spoke about his drive for this fight:

"But my fire to compete continues to burn strong and as long as my body can handle it, I will continue to fight. So for now, I train hard and always focus on getting better in the fight game."

Danny Kingad can make a statement at ONE 169

In recent times, Danny Kingad has alternated wins and losses, but that's to be expected when you're facing the top contenders in your division.

Bouncing back from his loss against Yuya Wakamatsu would be one thing but doing it by getting revenge over Moraes would be massive for him.

With the flyweight world championship currently vacant following Demetrious Johnson's retirement at ONE 168, a win here will put Kingad right to the front of the pack.

Beating the Brazilian on Nov. 8 could completely change the trajectory of his career in the coming years and that's something that Kingad isn't taking lightly.
