Danny Kingad couldn't have asked for a better training camp before his next match under the ONE Championship banner.
The Filipino standout will face familiar foe Adriano Moraes in a pivotal flyweight MMA contest at ONE 169 on Nov. 8 at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.
In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Kingad said he's been training non-stop for more than two months after his fight against the former ONE flyweight MMA world champion was one of the first matches from the card that was made public.
Danny Kingad said that while some fighters tend to take it a little easier before training camp, he decided to push on his normal pace after he received notice that he would fight Moraes for a second time.

He said:
"This is probably the longest preparation I’ve had for an opponent because it was announced more than two months before the fight. But I’m always prepared, so it’s not a big deal."
Kingad first matched up against Moraes in his fourth fight in ONE Championship when he challenged for the ONE flyweight MMA world title at ONE: Legends of the World in November 2017.
'The King' was on a three-fight winning streak at the time but that momentum came crashing down when he suffered a first-round submission loss to the Brazilian submission expert in the first round.
Despite the loss, Danny Kingad quickly regained his footing and embarked on a six-fight winning streak that only ended when he fell short against the legendary Demetrious Johnson in the final of the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix at ONE: Century Part I in October 2019.
Kingad has since split his next four fights but hopes to recapture his form against Moraes in Bangkok.

Danny Kingad eyes a shot at ONE Championship gold if he beats Adriano Moraes in Bangkok
Danny Kingad's first chance at ONE Championship gold ended in disaster.
The Lions Nation MMA star suffered a quick submission loss to then-ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes at his first crack at gold in November 2017.
Nearly seven years after that match, Kingad vowed to avenge his defeat to Moraes and claim another shot at the flyweight MMA throne.
He told Manila Standard in an interview:
"There's no frustration, but I'm being more diligent now in reviewing how my fellow contenders are fighting and studying their tapes more. Instead of feeling frustrated, it motivates me knowing that I have to get through the hump to get to the world title. I really want to get that world title."
