ONE flyweight MMA contender Danny Kingad knows that his upcoming rematch with former divisional king Adriano Moraes comes at a key juncture in his career. That is why he is coming into the contest every bit ready both in body and mind.
'The King' will battle 'Mikinho' in a featured flyweight match at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a rematch of their first encounter in November 2017, which Moraes won by submission.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Danny Kingad spoke about the signifcance of his rematch with Moraes and the mindset he is having entering fight night.

"It was a bit of a concern for me as well, but in a positive way. I think the main thing is that I get my body and mind ready and the game plan is in place already, so it's more just fine-tuning everything all the way to fight night."
In their first encounter, a younger Kingad fell prey to the submission skills of the Brazilian star, who retained the ONE flyweight MMA world title he was holding then with a submission in the opening round.
At ONE 169, both fighters are shooting for an all-important win that should lead to a shot at the currently vacant flyweight MMA belt after.

Danny Kingad aims to notch more knockout wins moving forward
As he aims to beat Adriano Moraes in their rematch at ONE 169, Danny Kingad said he will be looking for a knockout if the opportunity presents itself. It is part of his push to secure more KO wins as he advances in his MMA journey.
'The King' shared this in the same interview wirh Sportskeeda MMA, relaying how KO wins are among the things still lacking in what has been a steady career for him.
"It's one of the things that I've always wanted because since I turned pro in MMA, I haven't really picked up a big knockout win. I really want to notch more knockouts in my record, so I'm going to be looking for it, for sure."
In the 15 wins Danny Kingad has had since turning professional in 2014, only one came by way of knockout, which was against Malaysian Muhamad Haidar in his ONE Championship debut in April 2016.
