Dante Leon is fired up for his return to competition under the ONE Championship banner this weekend. The 29-year-old is one of the promotion's recent additions to the submission grappling roster, and he wants to make an immediate impact.
To do so, he will be taking on an experienced competitor under the ONE banner who has beaten Leon before in their previous encounter.
Following his debut win and impressive display against Bruno Pucci last December, the Canadian had one name in mind. He wanted a rematch with Tommy Langaker due to the history between the two men and the contest was later confirmed for ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10.
At Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, Dante Leon is out for revenge and believes that he will be a step ahead of his Norwegian foe this time around.

He spoke in a recent interview with ONE Championship about how this rematch takes place in his mind where he believes that he will test Langaker from all angles:
"So, we'll see what his completeness is because I think in this match, it's gonna have to be on all fronts."
Dante Leon chose this matchup for a reason
Dante Leon is clearly very confident that in his second encounter with Tommy Langaker, the result will not be the same.
He has continued to work hard since his defeat to his next opponent, and there's no doubt that this setback fueled him to be better than before.
Leon now gets the opportunity to prove that by ticking something off of his bucket list which has been on his mind for a long time.
Getting his hand raised on Jan. 10 will allow him to close this chapter for good.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime for free.
