Even though their UFC careers hardly overlapped, Darren Till has never been a fan of Ian Garry. 'The Gorilla' was one of many who joined in on mocking Garry late in 2023 and is still not entirely sure what gives the 26-year-old fan appeal.
After Garry's wife, Layla Anna-Lee, posted a video of the UFC welterweight apologizing to her, Till was one of the first to comment on his confusion. In the video, Garry was standing outside of what seemed to be the couple's home holding flowers as Anna-Lee explained that he was apologizing to her in the caption.
Till quote-tweeted a fan re-post of the video:
"Can someone please explain to me what is happening here?"

Machado did not provide much context to the situation in her caption, merely writing that the two "argued" and Garry was attempting to reconcile with her despite "thinking he's right." The video showed 'The Future' pleading for his wife to let him back in while smiling and dancing.
Garry and Anna-Lee's relationship was the subject of criticism by fans late in 2023 after fans discovered an old book from the latter titled 'How to be a WAG.' Many have also pointed out the age gap between the two with Anna-Lee being 15 years older than her husband.
Who will Darren Till fight next?
Since his last fight in the UFC in 2022, Darren Till has fought just once and has yet to step back into an MMA cage. Till made his professional boxing debut in July at Social Knockout 3 in a bout that ended abnormally but nonetheless resulted in a second-round TKO win against Moh Mutie.
Despite his inactivity, Till continues to be a popular name called out by other boxers, especially in Misfits Boxing. 'The Gorilla' was mentioned by several fighters at MF & DAZN X Series, most notably by the promotion's light heavyweight champion Anthony Taylor.
