Forensic scientist confirms DNA samples matching Conor McGregor's profile
In the same report from RTE News, the Irish High Court employed the expertise of forensic scientist Dr. Charlotte Murphy, who confirmed that Conor McGregor's DNA samples match those found on Nikita Hand's body, underwear, and clothes. She also added that some of the samples were analyzed from semen stains on the black playsuit and underwear worn by Hand on the night of the incident.
While she confirms the DNA of 'The Notorious', Dr. Murphy excluded James Lawrence as a contributor to any DNA profiles related to the case. While it does confirm sexual intercourse of some level between McGregor and Hand, Dr. Murphy makes it clear that the absence or presence of semen does not automatically indicate consent. She said that it was not scientifically possible to address that.
In his own cross-examination, McGregor vehemently denies the rape accusations, saying that the intercourse that transpired between him and Hand was fully consensual.
