Regian Eersel is ready to move on to the next phase of his career following his triumphant return to Lumpinee Stadium.
The elite striker was able to reclaim his status as a two-sport world champion in the main event of ONE Fight Night 25.
After suffering a shock upset loss to Alexis Nicolas at ONE Fight Night 21, Eersel was entirely focused on making the right adjustments to secure revenge.
He did just that on Oct. 4 with a great performance to take the ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship back from his opponent.

Rather than going into a trilogy fight with Nicolas or continuing to rack up defenses of his kickboxing crown, the champ is looking to compete in Muay Thai next time out.
Eersel told Mitch Chilson in his post-fight interview inside the ring at Lumpinee Stadium that this will likely be his next step after some time off:
"I want to enjoy this victory, and I think after this, I want to defend my Muay Thai belt first. But let's see what ONE offers me. I'm always ready."
ONE Fight Night 25 also saw Regian Eersel's next probable opponent come out with flying colors
It was never in doubt that Regian Eersel would return to Muay Thai soon after reclaiming his lightweight kickboxing title.
'The Immortal' isn't going to hold up a division or back down from any challenges that approach him.
In fact, in the co-main event of the evening, his next contender may have emerged following a huge debut win under the ONE Championship banner.
Youssef Assouik was able to open his account in the promotion by defeating Sinsamut Klinmee who has shared the ring with Eersel on two occasions.
This could be enough to secure him a title shot given the highly ranked position that Sinsamut holds in this division, lining up the timelines perfectly for an encounter with 'The Immortal'.
