Asa Ten Pow's journey in ONE Championship
The 34-year-old's clash against the Brazilian brawler in Denver, Colorado, will mark his fourth appearance under the ONE Championship banner.
Asa Ten Pow debuted on the global stage against striking veteran Mehdi Zatout at ONE on Prime Video 3 in Oct. 2022. Unfortunately, things didn't go his way that night, as the latter handed him a TKO loss after one round.
However, he turned things around in highlight-reel fashion in his sophomore outing, earning a third-round TKO triumph over Chinese slugger Han Zi Hao.
Most recently, the Florida-based fighter put out a career-defining display at the expense of Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon to move to 14-3 in his career.
'The American Ninja's' savvy striking penalized the Thai dynamo at every exchange, and a final salvo of strikes early in round three earned him a second promotional win and a hefty US$50,000 performance bonus.
