Shara Magomedov recently met UFC Hall of Famer and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping ahead of his upcoming fight at UFC 308. Magomedov, who faces Armen Petrosyan on October 26, has always been vocal about looking up to Bisping.
This is mainly because both men share the rare distinction of competing with vision impairments in the UFC. Bisping famously fought and won the middleweight title with only one functioning eye, which has deeply resonated with 'Bullet'.
Following the meetup, Magomedov spoke about how Bisping's success served as a significant source of inspiration:

Shara Magomedov's coach believes his fighter is "more exciting" than Alex Pereria
Shara Magomedov's coach, Gor Azizyan, has made a bold claim, stating that his fighter is "more exciting" than UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
During an interview with Red Corner MMA, Azizyan praised Magomedov’s diverse striking ability and highlighted his dynamic technique, which he believes surpasses Pereira’s well-established skills.
Azizyan pointed out that Magomedov's wide range of techniques sets him apart from Pereira:
"If we're being fair, Shara is more exciting than Alex Pereira. Shara's striking is more dynamic. Alex Pereira doesn't have that technique, knees, elbows, heels, hands, low kicks, high kicks, and the frequency. Shara can land 60 low kicks, 30 middle and 10 high kicks in one fight."
