Reigning ONE flyweight world champion ‘Mighty Mouse’ Demetrious Johnson was front and center for ONE Championship’s historic on-ground United States debut a few weeks ago.
The 36-year-old MMA veteran is widely considered one of the greatest to ever do it, but what he witnessed at ONE Fight Night 10 in Denver, Colorado, was something truly special.

In a recent guest appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Johnson talked about the diverse offering ONE Championship brought to the United States.

‘Mighty Mouse’ said:
“I think to give the fans something else besides just mixed martial arts, like a Muay Thai, the submission grappling, you know you got the Ruotolo brothers, you got Mikey Musumeci, you have Rodtang, you have Stamp Fairtex. That was something great.”

But it isn’t just the multitude of cultures represented on ONE’s show that makes it special, but the actual product as well.
