Even in retirement, former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Demetrious Johnson was still sharing valuable knowledge with the combat sports community by analyzing fights and breaking them down into bits.
On Jan. 24, Johnson was in attendance during the ONE 170 card inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, and was in the commentary booth during the ONE bantamweight MMA world title match between Fabricio Andrade and Kwon Won Il.
Following the 42-second TKO win of 'Wonder Boy' against 'Pretty Boy,' the American MMA legend explained how Andrade was able to set up the unforgiving punch that he landed on Kwon's body, which became the difference during the championship battle, saying:
"He came out here guns swinging, and then slipped out that body shot, which was perfect. But he was already setting up that punch with those body kicks. Because, even though Kwon was blocking the body kicks, your body still absorbs that energy. That energy has to go somewhere. And that lead knee that he also threw, oh that was a beautiful body shot."

Fabricio Andrade names Stephen Loman as next potential challenger for his throne after his victory at ONE 170
During his in-ring interview with Mitch Chilson, the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai representative was asked if he wants to call out someone to be his next challenger for his 26-pound golden belt, and he mentioned a particular contender to do it.
Andrade boldly called out Filipino MMA star and No. 2-ranked bantamweight contender Stephen Loman to face him next, saying:
"I was meant to fight Loman last time, so if ONE Championship wants me to do that, I will do it. But it's up to ONE Championship and Chatri."
