While Demetrious Johnson loves super fights, he made it clear that he doesn't want a piece of Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Even the retired MMA all-time great is enamored by the reigning bantamweight Muay Thai and flyweight kickboxing world champion, who is arguably considered the pound-for-pound best striker on the planet.
Johnson, of course, already has experience fighting a Thai destroyer, since choked out Rodtang Jitmuangnon in their epic mixed-rules bout at ONE X back in 2022.
Still, 'Mighty Mouse' admitted he wouldn't even consider taking on Superlek in an all-striking affair.

The ONE Championship Hall of Famer gave a candid assessment of 'The Kicking Machine's fearsome arsenal in an interview with MMA Fighting:

"Okay, let’s do a super fight. Who am I gonna fight? Superlek? Yeah, I’ll pass on that. I’m not getting my f***ing leg kicked off and get f***ing elbowed to oblivion."
To be fair, 'DJ' did quite well against Rodtang in the Muay Thai-only portion of their epic fight, before putting the Thai to sleep via a rear naked choke in the MMA round.
Still, even Demetrious Johnson admits Superlek is in a league of his own. The double champ is the only fighter to beat Rodtang in all-striking matches under the ONE banner.
Demetrious Johnson says the best pure strikers are in ONE Championship
Demetrious Johnson knows great talent when he sees one.
Even after witnessing the best fighters in his tenure in North America, the former flyweight MMA world champion revealed that no other promotion can rival ONE Championship's incredible roster of world-class strikers.
“I feel comfortable saying that we have the best strikers on the planet because we have kickboxing and Muay Thai.”
'Mighty Mouse' even claimed that the promotion's greatest striker Superlek could prevail against MMA world champions in his weight class.
"If you put Superlek against an MMA guy in a Muay Thai fight, you believe he's going to win 1,000%,” he added.
Superlek will defend his bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Nico Carrillo at ONE 170 on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
